Hang on to your hats, yes this is not a beauty related post 🙂 but equally interesting.
I lie ofcourse. OK please be a friend and share this post anyway you can. It would really help me. Get re-imbursed even!
Is this a face you would trust ? I would. What is there not to.
Then you speak to this person on the phone, Mr Manish Jain, part of the Agarwal Packers and Movers management team and you think ‘yep it’s all legit’.
Till this happens
I supervised their packing of my art pieces and other than little bit of interference on my part they did a pretty good job.
Anyway long story short. They charged me 3% of my goods valued for insurance. Added this to their bill.
Excellent, they are laughing all the way to the bank.
And then my shipment arrives and one of the pieces insured, the Lord Ganesh comes broken to bits (see YouTube video here )
Since March 2019 we have been emailing, calling Manish Jain to get a handle on how I get re-imbursed.
But he is doing the ‘right’ thing. Ignoring my emails and my calls. No fun being hung up on.
Now everyone when pleading their case will say how they were ‘polite’ and ‘not rude’ when complaining and I will say the same.
Why ? Common sense. I apply the ‘waitress will spit in your food if you are rude to them’ rule to EVERYTHING.
No point in antagonising the person I ‘need’.
I ‘need’ Manish Jain to action the re-imbursment process. I can a** kiss from here to enternity to get my way, however much I hate their guts in secret.
Anyho if you use Agarwal Packers and Movers India dont fall for their insurance con.
Use Allied Pickfords. My mother used them years for local moves and we used them internationally, Hong Kong to USA.
They are legit and their insurance is NOT a scam.
Manish Jain & Agarwal Packers and Movers gives Indian companies a bad name.
